Governor's Conference on Aging

Be a part of this grand experience. Professionals serving older adults from all parts of Illinois come together annually at the Governor's Conference on Aging to learn, to challenge assumptions and to share ideas.

The conference is held each December in Chicago. It is the Department’s biggest, most comprehensive training event as well as the largest statewide meeting of professionals who work in these fields.

The 2009 conference highlights cutting edge developments, innovations and best practices in the aging network from novices to experts.

NOTE: The Department on Aging is excited to announce the following "green" conference effort this year: Session handouts will not be provided at the Conference; however, they will be available for you to download and print December 1- 30, 2009.
